Report a copyright problem
If something on this channel uses a work you own, or you are authorized to act for its owner, tell us here. VoVo's Support team reviews every notice, may remove the material, and lets the channel's owner answer with a counter-notice, as VoVo's copyright policy describes.
Before you file
- Only the copyright owner, or someone authorized to act for them, may file a notice.
- Think about fair use first. Commentary, criticism, teaching, news reporting and parody can be lawful without permission (17 U.S.C. § 107).
- Not about copyright? Use Report on the channel page for harassment, safety and other problems.
A false notice has real consequences
- Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material infringes is liable for the damages it causes, including costs and attorneys' fees (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
- You state under penalty of perjury that you own the work or are authorized to act for its owner. Knowingly making a false statement under penalty of perjury is a federal crime, punishable by fines and up to five years in prison (18 U.S.C. § 1621 and 28 U.S.C. § 1746).
To stop false and abusive notices, we record where every notice comes from: your network address, its approximate location and provider, your device and browser, and the time. We keep that record with your notice and may share it with courts or law enforcement when the law requires it or to stop abuse.
